This is when I had just recd my Canon 70-200mm f4 L IS USM, its a
lovely lovely lens, light enough to handhold through the day, and
offering at least 3 stops of image stabilization!

I am so happy with my new Lumix LX3 that I am now open to selling off my Canon 400D (with battery grip, extra battery and card, and Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens!) — if that goes then my 70-200 automatically goes up for sale, its been used barely 25 times and that too mostly to photograph Guruji! Do mail me if any of your friends are interested.

    V-ji,

Large aperture appeals more to me than the 3-stop stablization. Got my hands on one during Guruji’s visit to Bali last week and I can tell how much I miss my 80-200 f2.8/L 🙂

Raghuveer:Please email me your phone number at vikramandtina@gmail.com I’m in Bbay this week so we cd discuss.
Will: I agree — no substitute for large aperture, in fact the thing that sold me about the LX3 is f2-2.8 and acceptable noise levels upto iso400, which means a flash is almost never reqd. That said, there is nothing like Canon’s L series man!! 🙂
