Bombay is cold

February 10, 2008 by Vikram Hazra Leave a Comment

Mumbaikars have been celebrating this past week — for the first time
in 46 years, we have what we could legitimately call a winter! It’s
8deg C and a sight to see sweaters, scarves, jackets and shawls
everywhere — feels like one took a wrong turn and hit Connaught Place
instead of Flora Fountain. I’m sure the climate change pundits will
have a lot to say on this, and the doomsayers will chime in as well,
but for now, it’s time to done those thick socks and boots and winter
jackets and enjoy this cold spell while it lasts.
