    Hi. From a very long time I was searching for this bandish of Ustad Raashid Khan. You sharing this was very delightful. Thank You. Raga Hamsadhwani is very melodious, a film song in Hamsadhwani is –Jaa to se nahi Bolun Kanhaiya….

    My favorite bandish of Rashid Khan is ‘Tore bina mohey chain na aaye’in Raag Kirwani. I heard it for the first time, when he was only a teenager in Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata. Radha’s longing for Krishna comes forth so strongly in this song…

    Thanks for this post Bhaiya…Ustad Rashid Khan is one the best classical singer versed with both Gayaki and voice which enthralls auidence of all age groups…i had an opportunity to meet him in person some time back…very nice experience:)…JGD
