Monsoon at last

May 31, 2008 by Vikram Hazra 6 Comments

No one loves the monsoon like we Indians do! After the parching heat of summer, the first whiff of rain-kissed earth is like perfume. The monsoon enters (and exits) in style – lots of thunder, lightning, theatrical effects and bombast – a show to impress and enchant. As I type this, the rain rages around the house, but its like being in a cocoon, an indescribable feeling ๐Ÿ™‚ Time for some chai and pakoras? Or bhutta and a long walk?

Monsoon is the absolute favourite weather of any mumbaite… Hot Bhuttas, green green trees, cool winds… and some nice floods which stop school and business for a day or 2… they all add upto the magic of the rains!!

    Jai Gurudeva!
