We are finally back home after an exhilarating two weeks. The grand finale of the holiday was that Guruji and Bhanudidi turned up in Singapore for a surprise satsang on our last day there — they were in transit for 4hours and the Singapore group put together a huge event in just two days. Guruji spoke for a long time, giving valuable suggestions on how to overcome the recession, how to bring up children, and many other relevant topics. And then His flight was delayed, which gave us an extra hour or so to hang out with Him 🙂
Chay has put up pics of the event here
Also, I really appreciate how many of you wrote back in response to the post on politics; what struck me was how keenly most of us think about the future of our country — and I promise I shall keep sharing relevant knowledge that comes to me from time to time, which may help you in your outlook. Guruji has put me in a privileged position where I get to see and hear a lot of things firsthand, eg I have met several top political and business leaders, and it has been very interesting to see how they actually think and feel outside of their work arena — quite a different side emerges! Of course, parts of these conversations are confidential and I am duty bound to keep them so!
Please do keep your mails coming, and once again if there is anything specific you would like me to write about, do not hesitate to request it
. For those who have recently joined the readership, this blog was started in response to over a thousand emails I received, asking me to write about various aspects of my life. Besides teaching, I have been fortunate to travel to over thirty countries, spend time with the local people, learn about their cultures and food, and also in general share knowledge about the way humankind functions. Hence I have posted about my family and friends, my band, my photography etc etc. Let me know what else you would like me to write about 🙂 and thanks again for being there.

Kalpana: I’m working on two albums which shd be ready by the end of the year. Also, prakriti network is soon releasing two of my older concerts. Havent played any instrumentals as such, but its worth a thought!
Vivek: will certainly do so; was actually compiling my experiences for a book, sometime….
Siddharth: high-res may not be possible on Blogger; also, I need people to first shoot high-res pics of me on stage, usually its just pocket cameras and cellphones!

It’s such a pleasure to read your blog, be it a weekend in Singapore or a concert or a dinner reception or knowledge or even politics. The pictures are just amazing. With such a busy schedule, I am surprised that you even find time to write.
Please do keep writing – if ever you are short of topics, just post so and I am sure there will be an outpuring of topics to write about.
