Ummm I’ve run out of excuses — laptop and all other gadgets are fit and fine, don’t have much travelling to do (and even the places i’ll go to will be wifi enabled), have been to Ashram, spent time with Guruji, done a Part 2 course, radio show is going very well etc etc. So now it’s back to the blogosphere with a vengeance. There is a time to “regard life” — been there done that, and there is a time to speak up or shout out loud; and there are so many issues that we need to wake up to — when can we claim that our society honours justice and safety for all?
This morning I awoke to find that 25 years down the line, the Union Carbide people got off with barely a slap on the wrist despite more than 15,000 people having been killed in the Bhopal gas tragedy! If this is how it’s going to be, we can just forget about bringing children into this world — they’ll get jacked either way 🙁
Or else we begin to raise our voices; civic issues, basic human decency, and higher values like peace, love, trust and understanding — time to develop a wordly wise web 🙂

certain issues must leave us outraged. bhopal verdict is one of them.average compensation paid in bhopal 12,000 rupees at 1989 prices. average compensation in 9/11 $ 1.8 million.
Justice delayed as well as justice denied to bhopal victims!!!

As someone has correctly mentioned “justice delayed is justice denied”, but theirs nothing new in this case. In past also things were like this and in future also it will be like this (IF WE DON’T WAKE UP). People will forget this very soon, its just matter of days until some garam news coming with media. As bhaiya said we should really raise our voice, we should have a separate group which is full of youth fighting with this kind of issue.
Bhaiya lets do some collective effort thru AoL to raise this issue, thru blogs, facebook and all other accessible media. In fact, I will start a new page on FB and will have that circulated thru all Aolites and public in general and make some waves to let the authorities hear it. will update you of the same very soon.
